Accession to the Geneva Act (1999) was accompanied by the declaration that under Article 17(3)(c) of the said Act, the maximum duration of protection provided for by the law of the Principality of Liechtenstein is 25 years. (see The Hague Notification No. 59)
Liechtenstein notified acceptance for the termination of the London Act (1934), on December 13, 2010. The termination of the London Act became effective on October 18, 2016, three months after the Director General of WIPO received the last required notification of acceptance.
