ВОИС использует интеллектуальную собственность (ИС) в качестве связующего звена, которое объединяет регионы и страны на площадках для взаимодействия и диалога.

Организация проводит выездные межрегиональные форумы, призванные способствовать обмену информацией, опытом и приобретенными на практике знаниями между партнерами из различных отраслей и пользователями системы ИС. ВОИС развивает сеть межрегионального сотрудничества в области ИС путем проведения тематических встреч и дискуссий.

Collaborative Forums and Dialogues

WIPO harnesses opportunities to use intellectual property (IP) as a bridge by bringing regions and countries together through forums and high-level dialogues.

Ministerial conferences bring together top leaders and shapers of the global IP system on thematic areas of discussion igniting collaboration and impactful policy. In tandem, roving cross-regional forums enable the exchange of information, experiences and lessons learned among partners across industries and IP users.

WIPO relies on both approaches to foster a network of development cooperation across regions, providing member states with fertile ground for south-south, north-south, and triangular cooperation.
