500 Global and WIPO Global Awards: Connecting Winners with Investors

Jade ND, a Brazilian SME backed by the venture capital fund 500 Global, is one of the eleven winners of the WIPO Global Awards 2026, selected from more than 1,300 applications across 126 countries. 500 Global, a large early-stage VC active in 80+ countries with 2,900+ companies backed including companies such as Canva, joined the WIPO Global Awards outreach ecosystem during the 2026 call for applications. Jade ND's win is an early signal of what collaboration with the private sector can bring to the innovation ecosystem.

Jade ND develops technology to support personalized learning, cognitive development and the early identification of developmental risks in neurodivergent children. Its platform takes the form of a game: as a child plays, the platform analyses patterns in their interactions and performance, providing insights into cognitive skills such as attention, memory and decision-making. Those same insights shape games designed to help each child grow. The company's algorithms, data methods, and software are protected by intellectual property, which has supported Jade ND in reaching 220,000 children across 179 countries and making early support more widely available.

The partnership is not only about reaching more applicants. It is also about giving WIPO Awards winners and finalists greater visibility with investors. Several of this year's winners are actively raising, and WIPO is working to help them meet funds whose investment focus genuinely fits their business, so that recognition can translate into growth capital.

We warmly congratulate Jade ND and the team at 500 Global, and look forward to building on this first collaboration.
