The WIPO Academy’s general and advanced intellectual property (IP) eLearning courses are now open for registration on the WIPO eLearning Center website.
Registration for the advanced online courses is open until March 19, 2025, and the courses are due to run from April to July 2025. The courses are available in seven languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish), to anyone wishing to acquire knowledge and skills in the field of IP.
Why sign up for an online course on IP?
- Expand your knowledge in a range of topics including copyright, patents, trademarks, arbitration, and traditional knowledge;
- Learn about the latest developments in the use of IP relating to the areas of life sciences, business and the creative industries;
- Engage in discussions with IP experts and other professionals from the private and public sectors;

- Follow a course at your own pace;

Alternative study options
For those seeking access to the course content without following a course to completion, self-study versions of selected advanced courses are available free-of-charge at selected periods of the year. Through the self-study courses, participants can access the course material without committing to course tutorial including examination and certification.
