The PCT International Cooperation Division, WIPO, in cooperation with the Section for Caucasian, Central Asian and Eastern European Countries (CACEEC) and WIPO Office in the Russian Federation will organize a webinar in Russian.
This webinar focuses on:
- criteria on patentability applied in the international phase, its definition and meanings;
- differences between novelty and inventive step;
- whether an international search can be carried out when the invention lacks the criterion of "industrial applicability";
- list of subject matter for which international search and international preliminary examination aren’t conducted;
- checking of patentability when the claims comprise several inventions.
During the webinar, speakers will provide several examples to explain in detail the approach to checking the patentability of an invention.
The webinar will be in Russian and is designated for participants from Caucasian, Central Asian and Eastern European Countries, as well as Russian-speaking participants from other countries (if applicable). After the presentations, you will have an opportunity to ask the speakers all the questions you might have.
