WIPO Digital Access Service for Priority Documents
Under the Digital Access Service for Priority Documents (DAS), a PCT applicant can request the IB to retrieve a copy of an earlier application from DAS for use as a priority document, instead of providing or arranging for the provision of a certified copy. Note that, in order to be able to make use of the DAS service, the Office with which the earlier application was filed needs to be a DAS depositing Office – not necessarily the receiving Office with which the international application is filed.
Patent and Trademark Office (San Marino) becomes an Accessing and Depositing Office of DAS
The Patent and Trademark Office (San Marino) has notified the IB that, with effect from 1 May 2026, it will commence operation as both a depositing and an accessing Office of the WIPO Digital Access Service. The corresponding DAS Notification is available at:
