The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him of the receipt, on December 4, 1996, of a notification of the Government of the Republic of Poland withdrawing the declaration that it made under Article 14(2)(d) and (f) of the Madrid Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Marks of April 14, 1891, as revised at Stockholm on July 14, 1967, and amended on September 28, 1979, according to which declaration the application of that Agreement was limited to marks registered from the date on which the accession of the Republic of Poland entered into force (see Madrid Notification No. 45, of December 18, 1990).
