DECISION OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC

on Amendments to the Regulation on Fees for Patenting Inventions, Utility Models, and Industrial Designs, Registration of Trademarks, Service Marks, and Appellations of Origin , and Granting the Right for Use of Appellations of Origin, approved by the Decision of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic of June 12, 1998 N 346

In pursuance of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Amendments to Some Laws of the Kyrgyz Republic" the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic decrees:

1. To insert into the Regulation on Fees for Patenting Inventions, Utility Models, and Industrial Designs, Registration of Trademarks, Service MMks, and Appellations of Origin, and Granting Right for Use Appellations ofOrigin, approved by the Decision of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic of June 12, 1998 N 346 "On approval of the Regulation on Fees for Patenting Inventions, Utility Models, and Industrial Designs, Registration of Trademarks, Service Marks, and Appellations of Origin, and Granting Right for Use Appellations of Origin" (hereinafter referred to as Regulation), the following additions:

- to add to the point 4 of the Section I the words: "including research institutes and academies," after the word "organizations";

- to add to the point 3 of the Section III the words: "of the non-paid duty sum" after the words "to 20%";

- to add the Section N by the following new point:

Purpose of the duty

Attestation and registration of patent attorneys: - attestation of patent attorneys candidates - re-attestation of patent attorneys - appellation of the decision ofAttestation Commission - repeated examination - registration of the patent attorney and certificate

patent attorneys of the Kyrgyz Republic and into the Certificate of patent attorney

2. To recognize as invalid the Decision of the Kyrgyz Republic Government ofFebruary 4, 2002 N 46 on the Implementation of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic on Patent Attorneys.

3. To promulgate the present Decision in mass media.
