Considering the written request submitted by the organization “Copyright in

Audiovisual Media—Administration Entity” [Derechos de Autor de Medios

Audiovisuales, Entitad de Gestión] (DAMA), seeking the authorization provided for in

Article 147 of the Consolidated Text of the Law on Intellectual Property, approved by

Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996, of April 12, 1996F 1

and the other documentation submitted for examination in that connection,

The Secretary of State for Culture resolves:

To grant to DAMA, the authority, referred to in Article 147 of the Consolidated

Text of the Law on Intellectual Property, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996,

of April 12, 1996, to engage in the management of the intellectual property rights

accruing to the authors of audiovisual works who are listed in items (1) and (2) of Article

87 of the said Law, and to their successors in title, in the terms specified in its statutes.

This Resolution is a final administrative enactment, and contentious administrative

appeal from it shall lie to the Chamber of Administrative Litigation of the National Court

of Justice [Audiencia Nacional], as provided in Article 11.1 of Law 29/1998, of July 13,

1998, Regulating Contentious Administrative Jurisdiction [Ley 29/1998, de 13 de julio,

reguladora de la Jurisdicción Contencioso-Administrativa], and Article 66 of Organic

Law 6/1985, of July 1, 1985, on the Judiciary [Ley Orgánica 6/1985, de 1 de julio, del

Poder Judicial], in the wording given it by Organic Law 6/1998, of July 13, 1998, within

a period of two months from the day following the date of notification thereof in

accordance with the provisions of Article 46.1 of the said Law 29/1998.

The foregoing shall be notified to third parties and published in the Official

Bulletin of the State [Boletín Oficial del Estado].

por la que se autoriza a la entidad Derechos de Autor de Medios Audiovisuales, Entidad

de Gestión (DAMA), para actuar como entidad de gestión de los derechos reconocidos en
