NO. 9525 DATE 25.04.2006

ON AN AMENDMENT OF LAW No. 7819 DATE 27.04.1994 “ON THE INDUSTRIAL

PROPERTY” AS AMENDED

In reliance on article 78 and 83 (1) of the Constitution, on the proposal of the Council of Ministers, THE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA

DECIDED

Article 1 The article 94 of the law 7819 date 27.04.1994 “On the Industrial Property” as amended shall be amended as below:

“Article 94
Directorate of Patents and Trademarks

  1. The Directorate of Patents and Trademarks is a public institution under the dependence of the Minister of Economy, Trade and Energetic. The Director is its representative in relationship with third parties.
  2. The structure and organic of the Directorate of Patents and Trademarks shall be defined by order of Prime Minister, on the proposal of the Minister of Economy, Trade and Energy.
  3. The activity of the Directorate of Patents and Trademarks is established and provided for by this law and the regulations in appliance of this law.
  4. The director of the Directorate of Patents and Trademarks shall be assigned and dismissed by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Energy.”

Article 2 This law shall enter into force 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
