Notes Federal Law No. 149-FZ provides procedural tools for online IP enforcement (Art. 1), requires network dissemination to comply with IP law (Art. 15), protects confidential information (including trade secrets)(Arts. 2 & 9), enables court-ordered blocking of infringing films/TV, (Art. 15.2) and obliges intermediaries to remove content with liability shield if compliant (Art. 15-1).
This consolidated version of the Law incorporates amendments up to Federal Law No. 498-FZ of December 5, 2022, on Amendments to Certain Laws of the Russian Federation, which entered into force on December 5, 2022 (see paragraph 10, Art. 10 and Art. 15.9 of this consolidated version for detailed amendments).
