Details Details Year of Version 2022 Dates Amended up to: March 31, 2017 Entry into force: March 31, 2003 Enacted: January 13, 2003 Type of Text IP-related Laws Subject Matter Competition Notes This consolidated version of the Competition Act, 2002 takes into account amendments up to Act No. 7 of 2017 (The Finance Act, 2017). The said amending Act No. 7 of 2017 provides amendments (in force on May 26, 2017) to the following provisions of this consolidated version of the Competition Act, 2002: - Section 2, clause (ba) under Chapter I "Preliminary". - Section 53A, sections 53C to 53M & section 53R under Chapter VIIIA "Appellate Tribunal". - Section 63, sub-section (2) under Chapter X "Miscellaneous". The consolidated version was updated on July 22, 2022 and is currently published on the website "https://www.indiacode.nic.in/" that belongs to Legislative Department, Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India.
