The E-Government Implementing Regulations are issued by to the Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 40 of 27/2/1427 H (March 27, 2006).
These regulations contain provisions on the Government Information and Data (Section I), the Government Works and Services (Section 2), the E-government Applications (Section 3) and the General Provisions (Section 4).
The Regulations indicate that all government entities shall classify their information and data, manage their databases and coordinate with each other in order to guarantee the accuracy and non-discrepancy or duplication of information (Articles 2-6). The regulations also indicate that all government entities shall comply with the confidentiality and privacy protection criteria (Article 8).
