Notes
This Law provides for the establishment of meat export facilities and controls relating thereto.
For IP-related provisions, see Sections 13, 8(b) and 29(b).
Section 13 specifies that branding of carcasses should be branded in the prescribed manner with a brand approved by the Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of Agriculture.
Section 8(b) states that meat export products must be branded in the prescribed manner (see page 11).
Section 29(b) stipulates that the Head of State makes provisions for the Registration of marks, stamps, brands or labels used for the branding or marking of meat or any other products derived from slaughtered stock) (see page 16).
