The notification by Brunei Darussalam to the WTO under Article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'[The Trademark (Importation of Infringing Goods) Regulations] provides procedures for giving notice under Section 82 of the Trade Marks Act to the Controller Customs requesting for the detention of infringing goods.'
The Trademark (Importation of Infringing Goods) Regulations (Subsidiary Legislation) were first revised in 1984 and published in Laws of Brunei, Revised Edition 1984; they have most recently been revised in 2000, and republished under S 46/2000 in the Laws of Brunei, Revised Edition 2000.
These revised Trademark Regulations (S 46/2000) are issued pursuant to section 106(1) of the Trade Marks Act (Chapter 98, Laws of Brunei, Revised Edition 2000).
