E ffective 10 September 2012, the Industrial Pro per ty Automation System (IPAS) for Inve ntions will be in production.

All the officers and sta ff o f the Burea u of Patents (BOP) are directed to use IPAS Inventions in processing all inve ntions applications and post-grant transactions.
