Sequence Listing document types
Changes in ePCT and PATENTSCOPE
Minor simplifications have been made to the range of document types related to sequence listings in ePCT and PATENTSCOPE.
The table below shows the revised document types with changes in certain descriptions; removed document types are shown in strikeout.
The document types “Sequence Listing - Correction - Rule 13ter”, “Sequence Listing - Rectification - Rule 13ter” and “Sequence Listing under Rule 13ter Rectified by the International Preliminary Examining Authority (Rule 91)” have been deleted as they are considered unnecessary. These documents are not part of the international application as such. If a Rule 13ter listing is wrong for any reason, it can be replaced with a new one without the need to specify whether the change is due to a correction or a rectification.
The document type “Statement relative to Seq List for the purposes of international search (Rule 13ter)” duplicates the document type “Sequence Listing Statement”, and the document types “Seq. List. Info” and “Sequence List Tables” are no longer applicable.

The document Minimal Specifications (MinSpec) for Electronic PCT Document Exchange has been updated to reflect these changes. The current version is now Version 4.9.
