Join the World Intellectual Property Day celebrations

As this month’s issue of the Newsletter goes to press, IP offices, law firms, businesses and other stakeholders are already celebrating World Intellectual Property Day 2026.
Each year, World IP Day explores the power and value of IP and innovation, focusing on a particular topic. It is a great opportunity to raise awareness and promote understanding among IP creators, service users and the public. This year’s World IP Day theme highlights the importance of IP for sport.

WIPO is running its own program of World IP Day activities and has also produced a range of information products and free-to-use materials to support campaigns by other stakeholders.

It is not too late to create your own campaign. While many events and celebrations have been scheduled for World IP Day itself – 26 April – activities will take place after that, too.

For more information, visit the WIPO World IP Day webpage.
