- the incidence of bad faith and use of central attack in relation to international trademark registrations; and
- other grounds used to request cancellation of an international trademark registration due to ceasing of effect of the basic (national or regional) mark.

Your input is crucial in helping us to better understand the challenges you face as Madrid System users, and to continually improve the Madrid System’s legal framework.
The survey should take 10 to 15 minutes to complete. The results – your anonymous responses – will directly inform discussions at the next session of the Working Group in September.
This survey was requested at the latest session of the Working Group on the Legal Development of the Madrid System, held in October 2024 (22nd session). WIPO is conducting a similar survey among the intellectual property Offices of all Madrid System members.
