Convention for the Protection of Producers of Phonograms Against Unauthorized Duplication of Their Phonograms

Declaration of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland concerning the application of the Convention to certain territories

The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and, in conformity with the provisions of Article 13(4) of the Convention for the Protection of Producers of Phonograms Against Unauthorized Duplication of their Phonograms, has the honor to inform him that, according to the notification received from the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the Government of the-United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland declared by a notification addressed, on December 4, 1974, to the Secretary-General of the United Nations that the said Convention is applicable to the following territories: Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Hong Kong, Montserrat, St-Lucia and Seychelles.

Pursuant to the provisions of Article 11(3), the said notification takes effect three months after the date on which it is received, that is, on March 4, 1975.
