Madrid Agreement for the Repression of False or Deceptive Indications of Source on Goods

Accession to the Additional Act of Stockholm by the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic

The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and in accordance with the provisions of the above international instrument adopted at Stockholm, has the honor to notify him that the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic deposited, on September 22, 1970, its instrument of accession dated September 3, 1970, to the Additional Act of Stockholm, of July 14, 1967, of the Madrid Agreement for the Repression of False or Deceptive Indications of Source on Goods of April 14, 1891.

Pursuant to the provisions of Article 5(2), the Additional Act of Stockholm to the said Agreement will enter into force, with respect to the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, three months after the date of this notification, that is, on December 29, 1970.
