Hague Agreement Concerning the International Deposit of Industrial Designs

Entry into Force of the Complementary Act of Stockholm

The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and, in accordance with the provisions of the Complementary Act of Stockholm, of July 14, 1967, to the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Deposit of Industrial Designs of November 6, 1925, has the honor to notify him that, pursuant to Article 9(1), the said Complementary Act will enter into force on

September 27, 1975,

that is, three months after the deposit of the fifth instrument of ratification or accession.

In this connection, it is recalled that instruments of ratification relating to the said Complementary Act were deposited

- on January 26, 1970, by the Swiss Confederation
- on June 19, 1970, by the Federal Republic of Germany
- on February 21, 1972, by the Principality of Liechtenstein
- on May 2, 1975, by the French Republic
- on June 27, 1975, by the Principality of Monaco.

Consequently, in accordance with Article 9(1), the Complementary Act of Stockholm, of July 14, 1967, to the Hague Agreement will enter into force on September 27, 1975, with respect to the five States referred to above.
