Convention establishing the World Intellectual Property Organization
Ratification by the Principality of Monaco
The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and, in accordance with the provisions of the Convention Establishing the World Intellectual Property Organization, has the honor to notify him that the Government of the Principality of Monaco deposited, on December 3, 1974, its instrument of ratification.
By virtue of Article 29bis of the Paris Act (1971) of the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works, the Principality of Monaco, which was not bound by Articles 22 to 38 of the Stockholm Act (1967) of the said Convention, having ratified the Paris Act (1971), fulfils the condition set forth in Article 14(2) of the Convention Establishing the World Intellectual Property Organization.
Pursuant to Article 15(2), the Convention Establishing the World Intellectual Property Organization will enter into force, with respect to the Principality of Monaco, three months after the date of deposit of the instrument of ratification, that is, on March 3, 1975.
