Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works
Ratification by the People's Republic of the Congo of the Paris Act (1971)
The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and, in accordance with the provisions of the Paris Act (1971) of the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works of September 9, 1886, has the honor to notify him that the Government of the People's Republic of the Congo deposited on September 2, 1975, its instrument of ratification of the said Convention, as revised at Paris on July 24, 1971.
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 28(2)(c) and (3), the Paris Act (1971) of the Convention will enter into force, with respect to the People's Republic of the Congo, three months after the date of this notification, that is, on December 5, 1975.
