Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works

Accession by Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him of the deposit by the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, on May 29, 1995, of its instrument of accession to the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works of September 9, 1886, as revised at Paris on July 24, 1971, and amended on September 28, 1979.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has not heretofore been a member of the International Union for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works ("Berne Union"), founded by the Berne Convention.

The Berne Convention as revised will enter into force, with respect to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, on August 29, 1995. On that date, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will become a member of the Berne Union.
