IPOPHL has requested WIPO to organize and implement a PCT Seminar mainly for its patent examiners, on the basics of the PCT, as well as recent developments in the system, and notably training on international search and preliminary examination procedures under the PCT. The Office has expressed its wish to be appointed as an International Searching and Preliminary Examining Authority under the PCT (ISA/IPEA) in the near future, thus this training would facilitate the preparation of its examiners.
IPOPHL has also asked for a one-day training for its stakeholders on promotion of the use of the PCT, highlighting review of the ePCT system, since it plans to receive ePCT international applications in the 1st quarter of 2016. |
