National Workshops on Enforcement of IP Rights for the Judiciary and Law Enforcement Officials |
| Description : |
Recognizing the need for enhancing awareness and the knowledge level with respect to the enforcement of IP in the region, the Workshop would be geared towards judges, magistrates, prosecutors, customs and police officers, and other types of enforcement agencies. The Event would cover topics such as case law developments and Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPs) related remedies. Furthermore, it would seek to further improve the skill and knowledge level necessary to provide fair, efficient and consistent handling and adjudication of IP cases. The Workshops will be carried out in collaboration with the Building Respect for IP Division. |
