Regional Workshop on the Opportunities and Challenges in the Implementation of the Beijing and Marrakesh Treaties |

To raise awareness and to promote the Beijing Treaty on Audiovisual Performances (BTAP) and Marrakesh Treaty to facilitate access to Published works for persons who are blind, visually impaired or otherwise print disabled (MVT). The program will cover an in-depth analysis of the provisions of these treaties and crucial issues and options for national implementation. In addition the event has also the objectives of gathering information on the status of the implementation of these instruments from participating countries, introducing other WIPO administered treaties in the field of copyright and related rights and discussing other copyrights topics such as those on agenda of the SCCR. |
