the Estonian Patent Office (EPO) requested the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to co-organize a National Seminar on Trademark Protection at Home and Abroad. The Madrid System for the International Registration of Marks, in Tallinn, on June 5 and 6, 2014.
Since the last promotional event with regard to the Madrid system took place in Estonia in 2007, the requested Seminar would be a good opportunity for raising awareness about the Madrid system among the local businesses and promoting its better use to more advanced users, such as trademark attorneys and EPO’s staff.
