By letter dated August 15, 2011, His Excellency Mr. Hailemariam Desalegn (then Vice Prime Minister), the Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, invited you to make a state visit to Ethiopia which you accepted.
Following consultations between the International Bureau and His Excellency,
Mr. Minelik Alemu Getahun, Ambassador of Ethiopia to the UN in Geneva, it has been agreed that the visit takes place from February 5 to 7, 2014.
In addition to the State visit, it is also envisaged that you would call on the respective Heads of the African Union and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, both headquartered in Addis Ababa. Please find attached copies of draft letters for your consideration and approval. |
