| Description : |
The mission will have 3 objectives:
a) to analyze BURIDA business and operational framework and make recommendations for setting up the required governance infrastructure to accommodate the management of performers rights and implement a transparent private copy levy system
b) to design the guidelines for establishing such a project, including meeting with the relevant national institutions that would be involved in the process as well as undertaking a preliminary assessment of the revenues to be expected from private copy in Côte d’Ivoire
c) to assess BURIDA readiness and preparedness to use WIPOCOS modules to administer related rights (performers and producers rights) in a transparent way, and to ascertain that private copy remuneration will benefit all categories of rights holders members of the CMO |
