The Government of Ethiopia, with the assistance of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has embarked on the preparation of a national innovation and intellectual property (IP) policy and strategy. Two consultants have been assigned to work with a national Steering Committee on the preparation of the draft policy and strategy (copy of approved memo is attached). The consultants and the Steering Committee are assisted by a number of national professional and general service staff.
