Mr. Miguel Ángel Margáin González, Director General of the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) requested the support of WIPO for a series of disseminations activities which would take place in Mexico on the occasion of the entry into force of the Madrid Protocol with respect to this country (letter attached) including an invitation to you to participate in this event on February 18 and 19, 2012. In a further communication sent by IMPI officials on January 30, 2013 (letter attached), IMPI proposed to hold seminars in Mexico City, on February 19 and 20, followed by similar activities in Monterrey, on February 21, and Guadalajara, on February 22, 2013. The latter are two of the largest industrial cities in México.
