Titre : National Seminar and Workshop on the Madrid System for the International Registration of Marks
Description : In his letter of December 12, 2012 (copy attached), Mr. Dzianis Niadzvetski, Acting Director General, National Center of Intellectual Property of Belarus (NCIP), requested the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to organize, in cooperation with NCIP, a National Seminar on Promotion of the Madrid System for the International Registration of Marks, in Minsk, on February 26 and 27, 2013. Mr. Niadzvetski emphasised the need of capacity building on the international registration of marks in Belarus taking into account the recent increase of international applications filing by national applicants and the number of questions raised by them.
