Deputy Director General of the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI), Ms. Ana Carla Martínez Gamba, requested a WIPO mission to IMPI headquarters to discuss the final details of the impending deposit of Mexico’s instrument of accession to the Madrid Protocol (please, see letter and e-mail attached). It was requested that the mission take place in the week of October 15 to 19, 2012.
IMPI is requesting WIPO support in a board meeting which would take place on October 19, 2012, where the details of the deposit of the instrument of accession to the Madrid Protocol, as well as its technical implementation during the following three months, will be discussed (please, see e-mail attached). It is important to mention that the current executive branch is in a transitional period given the fact that a new one will be inaugurated on December 1, 2012.
