II. MISSION TO THAILAND, JUNE 5 TO 7, 2012
Reference is made to the implementation of Development Agenda Project DA_4_10_01 in Thailand, and in particular to the activities undertaken in relation to the three products selected under the project: Bang Chao Cha wicker products, Lamphun brocade silk, and Mae Chaem woven cotton textiles.
Further to the successful completion of the IP and branding strategies for the three
above-mentioned products, the local communities are now looking at ways of exploiting IP protection for marketing purposes.
