ARIPO requested the organization of a training program for members of the judiciary and law enforcement officials on issues relating to enforcement of IPRs. This activity is mentioned as a sub-regional enforcement workshop for the Southern African Development Community (SADC) countries in the FIT/USEN 2012 workplan of Prog. 17. As many ARIPO Member States are also Members of SADC, the two activities were merged.
