The objectives of the Forum are to: (i) explore how the IP system contributes to the development of environmentally sound technologies (ESTs);
(ii) provide policy makers and representatives from the private sector with an opportunity to exchange views on promoting sustainable development through transfer of environmentally sound technologies; and (iii) discuss possible international cooperation to expand access to ESTs.
