As per the approved implementation document for the CDIP Project on “Enhancing the Use of IP in the Creative Industries in Developing Countries in the Digital Environment”, one of
the deliverables for 2024 is the organization of workshops in the beneficiary countries.
The Ministry of Economy of the UAE, who is WIPO’s key partner and focal point for this project, has requested to organize a workshop on the digital publishing ecosystem within the
Sharjah Book Fair. The Ministry has indicated its interest to have a practical focus of the workshop and involve as much as possible industry experts. The Sharjah Book Fair is the
major publishing activity in the UAE and one of the most important in the region. |
