In August 2011, Messrs. Abeysekera and Bradley had visited the headquarters of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, and held consultations on possible areas of mutual cooperation. A number of areas were provisionally identified including IP and technology transfer, IP education, capacity building and IP research. It was agreed that further discussions would be held to focus on one or two areas. |
