1. In the course of the fifth session of the CDIP, some delegations expressed interest to include in document CDIP/5/4 (Patent Related Flexibilities in the Multilateral Legal Framework and their Legislative Implementation at the National and Regional Levels), constraints that developing countries might face in the implementation of flexibilities, as well as some practical experiences in their effective use, while other countries highlighted as very positive the factual nature of the document. The same positions were again raised during the sixth session of the CDIP.
