The Egyptian delegation to the last WIPO Assemblies meetings requested during a bilateral meeting with the Regional Bureau for Arab Countries the organization of a sub-regional meeting for Patent Examiners on examination in the PCT national phase.
After thorough consultations with the PCT International Cooperation Division, it was agreed to organize a Sub-Regional Workshop for patent examiners of the Egyptian Patent Office (EgPO) and for examiners from selected Arab Countries, which are facing unstable domestic situations.
EgPO has agreed that the Workshop will be held in Cairo, Egypt, from April 28 to 30, 2019. |
