The Permanent Mission of Angola, by note verbale no. 330/MP-ANG/GEN/2010 of December 17, 2010, requested the assistance of WIPO in organizing a National Forum on Intellectual Property (IP) and accepted to organize a Forum on Copyright and protection of TK and TCEs in April 2011.
After different meetings with the members of the Permanent Mission of Angola in Geneva and the Director General of the Angolan Institute of Intellectual Property, Mr. Licenca Barros, on the margins of the recent CDIP Meeting in Geneva, it was decided to organize a national IP Policy Forum. |
