Reference is made to the approved memorandum attached authorizing the participation of ADG Trevor Clarke to the above mentioned seminar.
The authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran have requested the participation of a technical expert who will be invited to speak on collective management of rights and International treaties.
It is proposed that Ms. Marisela Ouma; executive Director of the Kenya copyright Board undertakes the mission. Ms Ouma will depart from Nairobi and travel back from Teheran through Geneva to participate and speak at the celebration event organized by WIPO on “Movies: a Global Passion” which will take place in Geneva at the Grutli theatre on Monday April 28, 2014 in the evening on the occasion of the World IP Day. Ms Ouma is the coordinator for Kenya of the CDIP project on “Strengthening the audiovisual industry in Africa”. |
