Proposal for WIPO to organize a Practical Workshop on Intellectual Property (IP) and Genetic Resources (GRs), Traditional Knowledge (TK) and Traditional Cultural Expressions (TCEs), jointly with the ABS Capacity Development Initiative (ABS Initiative), hosted by the Namibian Ministry of Environment and Tourism (MET), in Windhoek, Namibia, from August 17 to 20, 2015. This workshop would be addressed to indigenous peoples and local communities (IPLCs) and government officers from 6 selected African countries (Cameroon, Ethiopia, Kenya, Namibia, South Africa and Uganda).
