The objectives of this Regional Meeting are to review what has been achieved since the previous Regional Coordination Meeting held in Morocco in 2012, in respect to the recommendations agreed on by the Heads of Arab IP offices. Furthermore, this Meeting aims at evaluating the current level of cooperation among Arab IP Offices, as well as the cooperation with WIPO, in terms of the challenges and the prospects of future cooperation at the bilateral, sub-regional and regional levels, in order to improve coordination. The Meeting is also expected to consider possible future joint activities and projects between Arab countries, as well as LAS and GCC, with WIPO. |
