The WIPO Strategic Goal VI-driven objectives of the proposed workshop are:
to sensitize prosecutors and senior investigators to the social and economic impact of counterfeiting and piracy;
to examine the relevant ways of successfully investigating and prosecuting IP crime in a balanced way and to the mutual benefit of the users of the IP system and the general public;
to address further relevant aspects of IP enforcement, such as the environmentally-sensitive disposal of infringing goods. |
