The objectives of the competition are to encourage and reward excellence in the invention of AT that would be utilized by local communities, and contribute to sustainable socio-economic development of local communities by taking advantage of patent information in identifying suitable solutions to specific technical problems. The effective utilization of patent information for devising solutions will be the key element of the competition.
