Mr. Marat Nazarbekov, Chairman, State Service of Intellectual Property and Innovation under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzpatent), requested WIPO to assist Kyrgyzpatent in organizing a National Seminar for SMEs on the Role of Trademarks, Collective Marks and Certification Marks in Business Development, to be held in Bishkek, in September 2016.
WIPO’s commitment to assist Kyrgyzpatent in this endeavor was confirmed in the letter dated November 17, 2015 (copy attached), from the Director General to Mr. Nazarbekov. |
