BACKGROUND
As is now the practice since 2014, the African Intellectual Property Regional Organization (ARIPO) and WIPO will organize a thematic workshop on intellectual property (IP), which will coincide with the practical sessions of the Masters in Intellectual Property (MIP) program scheduled to take place at the ARIPO Headquarters. The first workshop for the 7th Edition of MIP program, took place in Harare, in November 2014, under the theme WIPO-ARIPO Sub-Regional Training of Trainers Program on Effective Management of Intellectual Property Assets by Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. The second workshop for the 8th Edition of the MIP program with the theme Intellectual Property (IP) and Product Branding for Business Development in Africa, took place in November 2015. |
